The invention is aimed at resolving problems concerning the breakage of submarine rocks. The multi-purpose submarine excavator is indispensable for carrying out various works such as: lowering of the rocky sea bottom, excavations for the placing of submarine conduits or cables, stabilisations, removing of cylindrical samples from rocks, placing of saddles for the conduits surcharging, displacement of conduits. The said excavator operates in a depth of 50-60m and, using a plurality of tools, is able to break up hard rocks which are otherwise breakable solely by explosive or other water-polluating chemical materials. The invention is intended to preserve the water purity, and protect the flora and fauna which should be the greatest preoccupation in any submarine works. |
