Thrust reverser with telescopic cascades

The system consists of a mobile cowling ring (7) which forms part of the outer wall of the annular flow channel when the engine is in direct thrust mode, a series of flaps (12) forming an annular assembly, and gratings (20) made up of deflector vanes. Each grating has a fixed front section (21) and at least one rear section (22) which extends when the cowling ring is moved to the rear and the thrust reversal flaps are deployed. In the retracted position the grating sections lie one above the other in a radial direction.
