The invention relates to an expansion anchor (10) that is made of two materials, i.e. a softer and a harder plastic. In order to obtain low screw-in torque for an adjusting screw when the anchor (10) is expanded and to achieve a high anchoring force, expansion fingers (22) are produced in the harder plastic. The cross-sectional surfaces of said fingers are enlarged in the direction of the front end of the expansion anchor (10) and are embedded in softer plastic expansions (14) that are provided with a spherical segment shaped cross section. The expansions (14) are joined to each other by means of extension zones (16).
