WIDE BAND IQ SPLITTER DEVICE AND PROOFREADING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a balance of an amplitude and a phase between an I signal and a Q signal in an optimal state even when a band of an input signal of a wide band IQ splitter device is widened. SOLUTION: A quadrature oscillator 30 generates a pair of quadrature signals. An amplitude/phase adjustment circuit 32 adjusts an amplitude and phase relation between the pair of quadrature signals. This adjustment is set so that it becomes appropriate in advance by performing first proofreading. An analog IQ splitter 20 separates an input signal into an analog signal I and an analog Q signal by mixing it with the pair of quadrature signals. A first analog/digital converter 22 converts the analog I signal into a digital I signal. A second analog/digital converter 24 converts the analog Q signal into a digital Q signal. A control/operation circuit 26 receives the digital I signal and the digital Q signal and generates frequency area data which are corrected from the digital I signal and the digital Q signal by FET operation by using correction data.
