PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bus duct, wherein the number of its parts is small to facilitate its assembling, and its manufacturing cost can be suppressed, and furthermore, its weight is reduced to treate it satisfactorily at site. SOLUTION: In the structure of a bus duct for storing therein a plurality of insulated conductors over the whole periphery of each band-plate form conductor 1, of which an insulator is applied and which are superimposed on each other via their widest surfaces, symmetrically with each other two cases are combined each of which comprises a lateral U-shaped section bearing channel portion 3, an I-shaped section bearing protrusive portion 3a formed on one of the upper and lower portions of the channel portion 3, and a lateral U-shaped section bearing protrusive portion 3b formed on the other of the upper and lower portions of the channel portion 3. Then, a plurality of insulated conductors are stored in the space formed out of the channel portions 3, and the channel portions 3 are joined to each other by a joining means in each joining portion of the I-shaped section bearing protrusive portion 3a to the lateral U-shaped section bearing protrusive portion 3b. As the insulator of the insulated conductor, preferably a heat-shrinkable tubing may be used. As the joining means, a bolt and nut are used, and the nut may be fixed in a cavity portion 3c of the lateral U-shaped section bearing protrusive portion 3b.
