PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent coin clogging by surely aligning piled coins one by one. SOLUTION: This device has a carrier band 1 for conveying coins, carrier band driving means 4 for driving the carrier band 1 back and forth, coin piling canceling means 9 arranged so as to form a gap with the surface of the carrier band 1 for canceling piling state of coins piled on the carrier band 1 and coin stagnation detecting means 8 arranged near the coin piling canceling means 9 for detecting the stagnation of coins on the carrier band, after the stagnation of coins is detected by the coin stagnation detecting means 8, the carrier band 1 is driven by the carrier band driving means 4 so as to move opposite to the state before the stagnation detection of coins, and before and after the stagnation of coins is detected, the coin-piling canceling means 9 is driven in the direction of applying a force which is opposite to the advancing direction of coins before the stagnation detection of coins. Thus, by driving the coin piling canceling means 9 independently of the carrier band 1, piled coins can be surely aligned one by one.
