PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set display parameter values with which successive medical images can be displayed without giving any unnatural impression to a user. SOLUTION: The moving average value WW' of WW values of an object MR image to be set and an MR image present before it is calculated, the moving average value WW' of WW values of the object MR image and an MR image present behind it is calculated, and the mean value WW value of the moving average values WW' and WW'' in both the front and rear directions is set (ST5). When image pickup information on the MR image is Head/Axial, a WL value is not set, but when not, the moving average value WL' of the WL values of the object MR image and the MR image present before it is calculated, the moving average value WL'' of the WL values of the object image MR image and the MR image present behind it is calculated, and the mean WL value of the moving average values WL' and WL'' in both the front and rear directions is set (ST10). |
