PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a connector having contacts more than the number of contacts of a connector receiver to the connector receiver without damaging electromagnetic environmental suitability by using a surface contact type contact as an additional contact. SOLUTION: When a pin 33 is fit to a cutout 22 for positioning, phase matching of a male contact pin 18 of this improved connector 3 with a female contact pin 29 of an improved connector receiver 5 can be conducted. When a male screw 34 of a connector receiving cylinder 25 is screwed to a female screw 23 of a mounting ring, a male contact pin 18 is inserted into a female contact pin 29, and an electric signal transmission circuit of a video camera and a signal processing circuit within a signal processing device are connected. Since the form of two additional contacts is a surface contact type having contact plates 19, 29 on the improved connector 3 side and contact surfaces 30, 31 on the improved connector receiver 5 side, when the improved type connector 3 is connected to a conventional type connector receiver, additional two contacts come in contact with the surface of a third insulator of the conventional type connector receiver. |
