PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generator whose earth connector can be connected and fixed to the rising plate part of an attachment board without using welding. SOLUTION: A signal coil 2 is wound on the outer circumference of the cylinder of a bobbin 1, a core 4 is inserted into the hole 3 of the cylinder of the bobbin 1, a permanent magnet 5 is provided in a frame part 1b on one end of the bobbin 1, one end of the core 4 is pressed against one pole surface of the permanent magnet 5, and the rising plate part 6a of an attachment board 6 is pressed against the other pole surface of the permanent magnet 5. A frame part 16 is insulate-supported by a pair of terminal fittings 9, 10 connecting both terminal lines 2a, 2b of a signal coil 2. Branching end parts 9A and 10A are provided on the respective terminal metal fittings 9 and 10 so as to face the rising plate part 6a side. An earth connector is composed of an earth wire 13W. The base part of the earth wire 13W is made to penetrate an earth wire penetration hole 15. The part of the rising plate part 6a around the earth wire penetration hole 15 is deformed to fix and connect the earth terminal to the rising plate part 6a.
