PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wire winding work, while improving space factor and the like for attainment high quality. SOLUTION: Prior to assembly, circumferential salient pole core portions 13 of split core pieces 10a are coupled together in series from starting edge to terminating edge, and the inner radius core portions 11 are split into split inner radius bases 11a. The split inner circumferential bases 11a are developed in non-circular shape, and a coil 15 is wound on rib-shaped core portions 12, extending from each of the split inner radius bases 11a. Thereafter, the circumferential salient pole core portions 13 formed at the ends of the rib-shaped core portions 12 are coupled together by connecting portions 14, so that wires are easily wound and moreover a sufficient space factor is obtained.
