SWITCHING POWER CONVERTER HAVING HOLD-UP TIME AND HAVING REDUCED HIGHER HARMONICS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power converter which has hold-up time and reduced higher harmonics. SOLUTION: An energy accumulation means 16, connected in parallel with a rectifier means 13, absorbs or supplies a current between itself and a conversion means 19 by adjusting the on-period of two switches and deciding the voltage level of the accumulation means 16 and it guarantees a sine wave current of input terminals 11 and 12. The two switches are switched complementarily by the first control means which is included in the energy accumulation means 16.
