PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain efficient data communication by monitoring data size, number of assigned slots and traffic for the case so as to dynamically managing the number of assigned slots. SOLUTION: In this method for deciding the number of assigned slots for data communication in the digital mobile communication system, where one radio channel (one frequency) has plural radio slots by applying time division multiplex to radio periods, a channel control station device has a table made to correspond to the range of data quantity with the number of assigned slots in the range as system data, and before the start of data communication, when a data terminal or a mobile station to which data are to be sent informs of a data quantity to be sent, the number of slots set to the table is assigned to radio sections.
