PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plural recording objects without a sorter function by dividing input picture data into the blocks of not more than accumulation means capacity, accumulating them, reading them, outputting the necessary number of blocks, making an accumulation means to be empty and repeating the new accumulation of the next block. SOLUTION: When text data generated on a personal computer-side is transferred, it is accumulated in the memory 2 of a printer board 601 and a CPU develops it on a page memory 1. When an idle area exists in a hard disk device 503, picture data on the page memory 1 is transferred to a sub-picture processing board 500 and it is accumulated in the device 503. When the device 503 becomes full, accumulated picture data are picture-formed and discharged at a setting mode. The disk memory of the device 503 is cleared. The accumulation of developed data which are made to wait in the page memory 1 of the printer board 601 to the device 503 is resumed. It is repeated and the setting number of picture data are discharged while a paper discharge tray is offset.
