PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric diaphragm and a piezoelectric speaker that are formed small-sized and light-weight, and to ensure wide diaphragm area with high an electroacoustic transduction efficiency and high productivity. SOLUTION: A transparent speaker is configured with a transparent piezoelectric diaphragm where a transparent piezoelectric material, and transparent electrode pattern are formed through vacuum vapor-deposition or photoetching and with a frame supporting the surrounding of the diaphragm. Furthermore, speaker functions are realized, without disturbing liquid crystal display by adhering the transparent piezoelectric diaphragm 45 to a front face of a liquid crystal display panel and extension of the mount area for the speaker can be prevented through the mount on the liquid crystal display panel.
