PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply assemble a lens into a slider with accuracy. SOLUTION: According to this method, a slider 1 is manufactured, which constitutes an optical head having a mechanism for focusing light emitted from a light source through an object lens and irradiating the surface of an optical disk D therewith, and has a slider main body 10 variable in the attitude following the surface of the optical disk D and an object lens 11 integral with the slider main body 10 and forming the object lens. In this case, the slider main body 10 is molded out of resin by inserting the lens 11, which is formed in a separate body in advance, so that light can be transmitted through in the direction of the thickness of the slider main body 10. Preferably, a protective film 13 forming process is added to the above so as to coat the bottom face of the slider main body 10 therewith. |
