PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter which can supply low distortion output current by compensating for phase delay and nonlinear distortions developed in the high frequency inverter and half-wave voltage doubling rectifying circuit and the other portion. SOLUTION: In a structure that low-frequency modulation is made effective for the switching in a high-frequency inverter 4 with a modulation waveform from a main control circuit 11, a resonance voltage VCE of the high-frequency inverter 4 is detected with a resonance voltage detecting circuit 14, and a first auxiliary control circuit 15 feeds back the resonance voltage VCE to the modulation signal from the main control circuit 11, while an intermediate current detecting circuit 17 detects an intermediate current I2 outputted from a half- wave double voltage doubling rectifying circuit 6, and the second auxiliary control circuit 18 feeds back the detected current 12 to the modulation signal from the main control circuit 11 for the modulation control of the high-frequency inverter 4 via the first auxiliary control circuit 15. Thereby, phase delay and non-linear distortions due to the high-frequency inverter 4 and phase delay and nonlinear distortions due to the half-wave double voltage-rectifying circuit 6 are reduced. |
