PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable telephone system capable of performing data communication, etc., by being connected to external equipment without using accessory such as an adaptor and a cord. SOLUTION: Dimensional shape equivalent to width dimension and thickness dimension of an IC memory card is provided at a part of a casing part 3 of the cellular telephone system 1 and an IC memory card connector is arranged at one end part of the casing part 3. In addition, an IC card interface part to be connected with the IC memory card connector is incorporated in the cellular phone system. The cellular phone system 1 with linearly connected with the external equipment 100 and interface between both of them is taken as well by inserting the casing part 3 into an IC memory card slot 101 provided at the external equipment 100. |
