PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the transfer volume of applets and class files from a server to a client. SOLUTION: A class file transfer device 4 is arranged between a hypertext transfer protocol(HTTP) server device 3 and a class file storage device 5. The device 4 is constituted of a control part 6, a class file analysis part 7 and a file table 8. The control part 6 extracts class files one by one from the device 5 based on a class file transfer request from the device 3, sends each extracted class file to the device 3, allows the analysis part 7 to analyze the class file and records a class file name used for the class file in the table 8. The control part 6 repeats the procedure described above while referring to the table 8 until all class files recorded in the table 8 are extracted from the device 5.
