<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vacant space where a video is not recorded on a video recording tape by inserting a position identification code in a video signal when a temporary stopping instruction is inputted and composingly recording the code and detecting and confirming the position identification code while reproducing a recorded video signal when the temporary stopping instruction is released. SOLUTION: When a video temporarily stopping mode is inputted, a control part 20 specifies a position identification code. The part 20 storingly memorizes a position identification code to be outputted from a code generator 40 in a memory 30 and the part 20 stops a video recording mode when a frame in which the position identification code is composed is recorded on a video recording tape by a video recording and reproducing part 60. When the temporary stopping mode is released, the part 20 draws out an immediately preceding position identification code in the memory 30 and controls the video recording/ reproducing part 60. When the part 20 inputs a detected position identification code, the part 20 compares it with the identification code from the memory 30 and when they are coincident, the part 20 instantly converts the part 60 from a reproduction mode into the video recording mode by controlling the part 60.</p> |
