PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging management device which can perform fair charging management corresponding to the use styles of users. SOLUTION: When data are outputted (printed out) by using a data output device (printer) 110 to which terminal devices 120 and 130 are connected by the same network 140, the charging management device 111 generates charging information on a terminal device having issued a data output request in a use style (print quality, recording media, etc.), set for the data output device 110 together with the data output quantity (print number) of the data output device 110. The charging information which is thus generated is managed while made to correspond to identification information (user information) on the terminal device side included in the data output request.
