PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a read-out voltage without dropping light receiving sensitivity, related to an inter-line CCD solid-state imaging device. SOLUTION: Light receiving elements 1a and 1b are arranged on both sides, right and left, of each vertical resistor 3 through read-out gates 2a and 2b, and the light receiving part of each pixel comprises a pair of light receiving element 1a and 1b sandwiching each vertical register 3. The photodiodes 1a and 1b of, adjoining back to back, of adjoining pixels are isolated with a channel stopper 9.
