SOFTWARE MODEL AND EXISTING SOURCE CODE SYNCHRONIZING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a state where a corresponding source code or its equivalent object is synchronized with a software model without using a code marker that causes the confusion of codes by uniting an optional source code that is not expressed in the software model into a source code that is generated from an original code. SOLUTION: An existing source code 4 is united with the data which are received from a software model 2 during the forward engineering 12. Thus, a new source code 8 is generated and then replaced with the code 4. The corresponding part of the code 8 shows all changes, additions or deletions which are carried out in the model 2 and never affects an optional part of the code 4 that is expressed in the model 2. Then a part that is not corresponding to the code 4 is built into the code 8.
