<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high speed writing with respect to a semiconductor disk device using a flash memory whose writing operation is slow as compared with reading operation. SOLUTION: The semiconductor disk device is provided with a reference bus 1, a plurality of flash memories 4, a write buffer memory for temporarily storing data, and a processor 2 for executing the control of data writing and the transmission/reception and analysis of commands and status. The device is also provided with an address control part 31 for generating a physical address, a Vpp generation circuit 6 to be a writing power supply for the flash memories 4, an address bus 71, and a data bus 72. The processor 2 writes data in an optional flash memory 4, and in waiting time up to the writing of data of a succeeding word in the flash memory 4, continuously writes data in an accessible flash memory 4.</p> |
