PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-durability motion sensor capable of sensing vibration with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This motion sensor 1 is provided with a ball 40 of which surface has conductivity, a board 10 formed into a disc-like shape, positive electrode surfaces 28 and negative surfaces 38 which are alternately arranged side by side on the same plane on the board 10, separated from one another by gaps G and on the upper side of which the ball 40 is so put as to be movable from one side to the other side overriding the gaps G, and a cover 50 to prevent the ball from jumping out to the outside. When vibration occurs and the ball 40 rolls or slips on a surface connecting the positive electrode surface 28 and the negative surface 38, the positive electrode surface 28 and the negative surface 38 are electrically connected when the ball 40 is positioned just on the gap G, and the positive electrode surface 28 and the negative surface 38 are electrically disconnected when the ball 40 is positioned outside the gap G, so that an intermittent signal as a sensing signal of the occurrence of the vibration can be extracted outside from an output terminal OUT.
