PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to prepare, manage and use data on a smart card. SOLUTION: In a procedure for storing data objects 210, 220, 230, 240 in a memory 200 built in a smart card 100, a general data object and data object inherent in applications are defined by using security characteristics and access right to be optionally selected and files these objects 210, 220, 230, 240 in a plurality of application independent memory areas 110, 120 of the memory 200. Thereby data objects having the same access condition are arranged in the same memory area independent of application programs 310, 320, 330 or a smart card user 400 and these data objects can be accessed independently of the corresponding access condition. |
