摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mechanical operation in ultra-high vacuum which excludes heat generation and seizing, does not effect the quality of vacuum, can be miniaturized, and ensures high reliability. SOLUTION: This pulse current drive apparatus is equipped with a solenoid magnet having a ferromagnetic core 5, a permanent magnet 4 which is arranged facing the core 5 and linked with a movable member 1 engaging with an object to be driven, and a spring 3 which opposes the magnetic force between the core 5 and the permanent magnet 4 and acts so as to isolate the permanent magnet from the core. By applying a pulse current, the permanent magnet 4 is attracted to the core 5, and the movable member 1 is held in one stable state by a permanent magnetic force. By applying a pulse current, the permanent magnet 4 is isolated from the core 5, and the movable member is held in the other stable state by the force of the spring 3.</p>
