PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a scrambling code from being known when an exclusive-OR of audio data and a scrambling code is operated. SOLUTION: In the scrambling device, audio data are scrambled by an EX-OR operation between the data and a PN code by an EX-OR circuit, and also scrambled by being inverted by an inverter, and in sections except a voiceless section including a section near the voiceless section, an output signal of the EX-OR circuit is selected, and in the voiceless section or a section near the voiceless section, an output signal of the inverter is selected. In a descrambling device, the scrambled audio data is descrambled by an EX-OR operation between the data and the PN code by an EX-OR circuit 13, and also descrambled by being inverted by an inverter 14, and in sections except a voiceless section including a section near the voiceless section, an output signal of the EX-OR circuit 13 is selected, and in the voiceless section or a section near the voiceless section, an output signal of the inverter 14 is selected. |
