PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the drop in power factor and full-wave rectified voltage, and moreover to aim at downsizing and price reduction of the unit, in a power unit which rectifies the full waves of a commercial AC input. SOLUTION: The primary winding of a first insulated transformer 21 is interposed to one lead wire between an AC power source 1 and a diode bridge 3, which rectifies the full waves of the AC from this AC power source 1, and the primary winding of a second insulated transformer 22 is interposed to the other lead wire, and also the secondary winding of the second transformer 22 is connected in parallel with the primary winding of the first transformer 21, and the secondary winding of the first transformer 21 is connected in parallel with the primary winding of the second transformer 22.
