PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature core with minimized iron loss and which is capable of being formed into any desired shape. SOLUTION: This armature core of a motor is formed by molding a powder of magnetic metal coated with insulating material and is so designed that the axial height of its central disk-shaped portion 2 and the axial height of teeth 3, radially extending from the rim of the disk-shaped portion 2 at their base 3a are made larger than the axial height of the teeth 3 at their tip portion 3b.
