PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial anisotropic ring sintered magnet, in which cracks or the like are not generated in spite of existence of thermal expansion anisotropy. SOLUTION: An R-Fe-B-Al based (R is a rare earth element) anisotropic ring sintered magnet being a radial anisotropic ring sintered magnet is composed of 11-18 at.% of R, 2-20 at.% of B, 1-8 at.% of Al, residual Fe and unavoidable impurities. In a temperature range from the Curie temperature where total 100 at.% is obtained to 20 deg.C, difference of thermal expansion (contraction) ratio between a C-axis direction and the direction perpendicular to the C axis is at most 3.0×10-3 (0 is not contained). |
