PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost electric leak detecting/protecting circuit, with no problem in regard to installation space by making the most of close disposition of a power transformer or back-up generator and a molded-case circuit breaker connected to it. SOLUTION: A residual current transformer 11 and an electric leak detecting circuit 14 are housed in an enclosure which is mountable on a side surface of a molded-case circuit breaker 4, a neutral earth line 3 of windings 1 of an external power transformer or generator is connected to a primary conductor 12 of the residual current transformer 11, and the molded-case circuit breaker 4 is tripped by a tripping signal outputted by the electric leak detecting circuit 14 when a detection output of the residual current transformer 11 has reached a fixed level.
