PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device capable of performing a high speed seek and smoothly, simply and inexpensively attaining a minute movement of pickup at regular reproducing time. SOLUTION: A tracking error signal of an optical disk device is smoothened by an LPF(low-pass filter) 9, and a feed signal is obtained. A gain on/off switch means 11 is connected to an amplifier 10 amplifying the feed signal. The level of the feed signal is changed intermittently by turning on/off the switches 25, 26 of the gain on/off switch means 11, and minute vibration is imparted to a moving direction conversion means 6 between a feed motor 5 and the pickup 4, and static friction is reduced.
