PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a video image in response to a purpose and an interest of a participant through a simple operation. SOLUTION: A point A of a video conference system consists of a conference server 10, participant terminals 20, 30, a video display device 40 and a communication network 50. The conference server 10 generates a conference state video image 110 and outputs it to the display device 40 and outputs it individually also to the participant terminals 20, 30. A conference state window 121 is displayed on a terminal screen 120 of the participant terminal 20 and a conference state window 131 is displayed on a terminal screen 130 of the participant terminal 30. A video image resulting from processing the conference state video image 110 is displayed on the conference state windows 121, 131 in response to the operation of the terminal screen of each terminal. Different processing from each participant terminal can be designated.
