PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the route guidance device which can guide a route while reducing the influence on a driver as much as possible. SOLUTION: When a vehicle travels to 500 m before a course change spot on a guide path, a vibrator motor is controlled with a vibration pattern (A) (step SA7). Similarly, when a decision on each even step among steps SA8 to SA20 becomes 'YES', the vibration motor is operated with vibration patterns (B) to (H) in odd steps of steps SB9 to SA21. Consequently, the user can recognize that the current point is 200 m before a traveling direction change point (B), is 100 m before a traveling direction change point (left turning) (B), is 100 m before the traveling-direction change point (left turning) (D), deviates from as en route (guide path) (E), is approaching an up slope (F), is approaching a down slope (G), and is approaching a pass (H). |
