PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting type antenna which is small-sized and is a wide band. SOLUTION: A ground electrode 12 is formed on one principal plane of a substrate 11 made of rectangular parallelepiped-shaped insulating material, 1st and 2nd radiation electrodes 13 and 14 arranged oppositely through a slit s1 provided diagonally with respect to each side of the other principal plane of the substrate 11 are formed on the other principal plane, an end part adjoining one end of the slit s1 of the 1st radiation electrode 13 is connected to the ground electrode 12 through a 1st connection electrode 15, a power feeding electrode 17 is adjacently arranged at an end part separated from the end part where the 1st connection electrode 15 of the 1st radiation electrode 13 is connected through a gap g2, and an end part separated from one end of the slit s1 of the 2nd radiation electrode 14 at a fixed interval is connected to the ground electrode 12 through the 2nd connection electrode 16. Thus, this surface mounting type antenna makes a band wide through plural resonance and is made small-sized through wavelength reduction.
