PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable time when data is processed to be changed through intentions and to improve the reliability of the data by obtaining time data by accessing the world standard time through a communication line and imparting time data to data, which is processed as specified according to the obtained time data. SOLUTION: An application 101 obtains time data by accessing the world standard time 106 through a communication line (telephone line, cable TV, artificial satellite, etc.), 105 by using a communication part 104. This value used in application 101 is this value uses. Once the world standard time is obtained, the data of a timer 103 managed by an OS or hardware are set (calibrated) in consideration of the time zone to enable use for backup, in case of a fault occurring to the communication line 105. Consequently, the time when data is processed cannot be changed by intention, and the reliability for the generation, modification, and reference time of the data is improved.
