PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct an ultrasonic welding of a welding boss by the same facility regardless of the reel sizes of top and bottom reels. SOLUTION: The relative position of a welding boss 20 with respect to a pivot 19 in a bottom reel 16 is made constant regardless of the reel sizes of a top reel and the bottom reel 16. In other words, the relative position of the boss 20 against the pivot 19 is approximately same for the reel 16 of an M cassette tape reel 12a and the reel 16 of an L cassette tape reel.
