PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic head supporting structure constituted so as to improve the assembling property of a thin spring plate load beam and of a flexure and the yield of the assembled product. SOLUTION: The tip part 7a of a hook 7 projectingly provided at the center part of the flexure 3 is inserted to an window hole 5 formed on a tip part of the load beam 2, and the tip part 7a is oppositely faced to the load beam through the prescribed gap g. A tapered surface 20a is arranged by chamfering the corner part oppositely facing to the tip part 7a of hook of the load beam to prevent the interference between the hook and the wall surface M of the window hole at the time of inserting the hook 7 to the window hole 5.
