<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction detection function of a partial cell switch in the case of employing a common buffer for a cell division type switch. SOLUTION: Each partial cell switch 2 gives a succeeding read address pointer 20 stored in the same address as a partial address to a partial cell read from a common buffer 15 and a cell coupling section compares the succeeding read address pointers to check whether or not the partial cell common buffer switch is correctly in synchronization operation. Thus, a malfunction detecting function of the partial cell common buffer switch is provided only with a small increase in the hardware quantity and whether or not divided partial cells are correctly restored to the original cell can be verified.</p> |
