<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for a vehicle which is capable of imparting a sufficient diffusion width to the light beam emitted backward of a vehicle body, thereby the improved appearance thereof is obtained. SOLUTION: A lighting fixture for a vehicle has a lamp housing 12, interior face 17 thereof is a standing wall, a bulb 13 is mounted therein, and which is attached to a corner part of a vehicle body 16, a lens 14 which is attached to the lamp housing 12 covering its opening, and an amber cap 15 which covers the periphery of the bulb 13. At least inner peripheral surface 18a on the side outside the vehicle body of the barrel part 18 of the amber cap 15 is a curved surface, and a prism 22 with a flat surface 22a on the outer side surface corresponding to the inner peripheral surface 18a is projected. Because of the difference between the curvatures of the curved surface of the inner peripheral surface 18a and that of the flat surface 22a of the prism 22, vertical directional diffusion range of the emitted light beam backward the vehicle body is enlarged.</p> |
