PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it impossible to pay not less than a prescribed amount at a terminal side at the time of electronic money transaction for performing payment by inserting an IC card into a terminal. SOLUTION: This electronic money transaction terminal equipment 6 can set the limit amount of payment by an IC card 1 by using an input part 9 and the set limit amount which is stored in a limit amount storage part 13. When the IC card 1 is inserted to execute transaction, a display part 10 gives a display for urging the input of a password to the user of the IC card 1 if a transaction amount exceeds the limit amount. When the password is inputted, it is compared with a password read from the IC card 1, and transaction is refused if they are different from each other. |
