PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity of an integrated head for image read and write so as to prevent any hindrance from being caused in an image read function or the like and to make the size of the image processing unit small in the case of mounting the integrated head for image read and write in the image processing unit and using the processing unit actually. SOLUTION: The integrated head for image read and write is provided with a printed circuit board 4 on one side of which a plurality of light receiving element 2 and a plurality of drive ICs 80 are mounted at one side of a plurality of print elements 8, a case 1 that is placed at a position other than the positions of a plurality of the print elements 8 on the printed circuit board 4 and forms an optical path to lead a light emitted from a light source 3 to an image read object area S and to lead a reflected light in the image read object area S to a plurality of the light receiving elements 2 in its inside, and a light reflection preventing member 6 that is formed to be a separate unit from the case 1 and placed to surround a plurality of the light receiving elements 2 and a plurality of the drive ICs 80.
