PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which eliminate the need for programming, require none of the knowledge of a data base retrieval language, and generate and distribute a computer output report without the precondition of access to a data base. SOLUTION: A report without attribute and a report with attribute are stored in a report warehouse (20). The report with the attribute is composed of a report without attribute and a report with attribute. When an exceptional item of the report stored in the report warehouse (20) is detected, it is reported to a specified user. Thereby, this is suitable adapted specially to decentralized computer environment connected to network which is seen in many companies.
