PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system interconnection inverter device that reduces the switching loss of an inverter which converters the interstage voltage of a voltage raise converter into an AC, and that is highly efficient, compact and lightweight. SOLUTION: A voltage raise converter 3 that raises the DC voltage of an input power supply 1 by switching a voltage raise switching element 3c to output a middle-stage voltage VM raises the voltage during, only the period when the voltage VM drops below the absolute value of the AC voltage of a system 2. The raised voltage part of the voltage VM has a waveform of a projecting shape. To maintain this wave form, the capacity of a middle-stage capacitor 4 needs to be several hundreds of μ Fs. The switching loss of the switching element 3c can be reduced by switching it. An inverter 5 that converts the voltage VM into an AC reduces the switching loss by high frequency switching with the arm of switching elements Q1, Q2 only. The arm of the switching elements Q3, Q4 are used for the changeover of polarity. |
