PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary standby electric power by transferring print data immediately after a printer has warmed up. SOLUTION: A print data generation time calculation part 13 calculates needed to generate print data on a host computer side. A printer warm-up time measurement part 16 calculates the warm-up time of the printer by referring to a data base 3. A warm-up command output part 15 sends a warm-up command to a printer control part 20 so that the end timing of the warm-up nearly matches the generation end timing of the print data. |
