PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the working cost of a rotor, and improve motor performance and motor efficiency in a reluctance motor. SOLUTION: This reluctance motor has a rotor 10 inside a stator 1 generating a rotating magnetic field. The mechanism part (skeleton) 10a of the rotor is formed in the following manner; concenring holes 10b in a part corresponding to a magnetic path from the stator 1 and a flux barrier 13, a steel plate is punched with an automatic press, an outer periphery of the mechanism part 10a is punched in an uneven type, and automatic lamination is performed in a metal mold. A magnetic steel plate is press-worked in a specified sectional form. Protruding parts 12 are formed in a magnetic steel plate 11a by the press work. A plurality of the plates 11 a are stacked to make a magnetic steel plate part 11. When the rotor 10 is obtained by burying the magnetic steel plate part 11 in the hole 10b, a plurality of the magnetic steel plate parts 11 are buried in the respective holes 10b at specified intervals.
