<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get an extraction jig and an extraction method for OF cable insulating oil which enables the extraction of insulating oil by preventing the damage of thread on which to screw a cap nut and besides can sharply reduce the quantity of outflow oil at extraction of insulating oil, without scattering the oil stopping nipple of the cap nut of a connector in an OF cable connection box. SOLUTION: The main body of a jig, which can be oil-tightly mounted on and engaged with or disengaged from the cap nut 13 of a connector in an OF cable connection box 1, possesses a push screw 9 that an insulating oil extraction port 10 has, and this push screw 9 is of such structure that it is provided with the oil stopping nipple 4 of a connector capable of pushing in by the screwing of its self, and insulating oil is extracted using this jig. It will do to make the jig body 8 have a nut engaging part capable of engagement with the tool hooking face of the cap nut 3 or a stop screw 12 capable of abutment and fixation to that tool hooking face, or to provide it with a claw capable of locking on the screwing propulsion side face of the cap nut 3 capable of rotation. Moreover, the jig body 11 can be made of transparent synthetic resin such as acrylic resin or the like.</p> |
