Tunnel construction method for waterlogged urban area provides tunnel for underground railway and surface roadway

The tunnel is excavated along the route of an existing road. Corrugated dam walls (6) are sunk into the ground (2). The earth in between the walls is then excavated and ground water (7) wells up. The track for the railway is constructed using U-shaped concrete channeling. The roadway is then reconstructed using I-shaped transverse elements (8), T-shaped cover plates (9) and the roadway surface (11), all supported on the dam walls by T-shaped cover plates (10)
