PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute plural application programs described in different languages. SOLUTION: In this IC card having a CPU, a ROM, a RAM and an EEPROM, an application registration are 14a, an interpreter registration area 14b and a data record area 14c are difined in the EEPROM 14. Plural applications described in various languages can be made to be loaded in the area 14a and an interpreter corresponding to each of these languages can be made to be loaded in the area 14b by externally giving a prescribed command. When an execution instruction of a specific application is made from the outside, an interpreter corresponding to a language in which the application is written is automatically selected and the interpretation execution of the application is performed by using the interpreter. |
