<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe spiral retainer for cable suspension in which falling- out and lateral deviation are not generated, and its applying method. SOLUTION: In this retainer, connectors 13a, 13b wherein joint sleeves 132 are formed are installed on both sides, and a falling-out preventing suspension jig or a rotary type guide jig is installed at the tip. In this applying method, a cable is suspended from a messenger wire. A spiral retainer having an internal diameter larger than the sum of the external diameters of the messenger wire and the cable is attached to the messenger wire, and transferred to other pole side. Connection of one end of the retainer with the other end of the retainer is repeated by using a connector provided with a street terminal. The retainer is fixed to the messenger wire by using a fixture. The cable is drawn in the retainer. As a result, the laying work of a cable is enabled only in the vicinity of a pole.</p> |
